"This practical down to earth approach makes it a compelling read for the newly diagnosed cancer patient through to those later in their cancer journey."
Mitchell Chipman, Mercy Private Hopsital, MB BS FRACP
" I can tell you that when our transcriber transcribed Jill Fraser's (our journalist) interview with Elizabeth she broke down in tears. The most moving quote for me was ' ...the cancer journey gives you the ability to decide to follow through and choose the life you want to lead , not the life you think you should live......The amazing thing is that she used adversity and tragedy to develop five secrets to cancer survival strategy.....become a book which is an inspiration to cancer sufferers everywhere: 'Secrets of Cancer Survivors'.
Michael Walls, Publisher & Managing Editor, Think Big Magazine
'Highly recommended...this book is a really good read and offers lots of information and insight into how different people, in different ways, dealt with a cancer diagnosis.'

'Since it appears that you have contact with Elizabeth, could you please tell her that I found her interview to be most enlightening. I am a regular listener to the Conversation Hour when I travel for work. I usually find there is a lesson or two in every discussion. In Elizabeth's case there were quite a few lessons to be found. I certainly registered how important it is to listen to the fears of the individual and not to necessarily try to brush them aside with notions of positive thinking and the like. We have already taken that on board and have tried to do just that. I have also been keen to date to ensure we keep all types of discussion going with 'lots of laughs and fun in the mix. Patricia (my wife's Mum) and I share a relationship that is very much one of laughs and fun and I for one intend to keep the laughs going. Elizabeth's book will be along for the ride as one of the copies is for my father in law; he has lost both his own mother and sister to breast cancer. He is struggling more than anyone and I hope that the book will help him as much as it may help Patricia, I'm sure it will.'
From James, a listener of 'The Conversation Hour" ABC with Richard Fidler
'very sincere congratulations on the publication of your book...(My friend) Jane has read it....a friend of hers had recently been diagnosed with bone cancer. The prognosis is good thankfully , but she found your book very helpful in understanding her friend's situation and various decisions she was making....
Anne A, Melbourne
'A great book for anyone wanting to put their life into perspective. It describes the lives, dreams and shared determination of the author and five other cancer survivors who all possess the will to live. The main principles can be applied to anyone who wants their lives to be different. It's a short, concise easy to read book with great tips and advice that everyone can take something from.'
